For the treatment of roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm, including hydatids and the prevention of heartworm in dogs. Treatment of Roundworm (Toxascaris leonina, Toxacara canis), Hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum, Ucinaria stenocephala), Whipworm (Trichuris spp.) and Tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp.) including hydatids (Echinococcus granulosus) in dogs. Prevention of heartworm (Dirofilaria Immitis).
Young Puppies Treat according to weight. Commence treatment at 6-8 weeks of age and retreat every 6 weeks. Breeding Females See precautions. Other Dogs Treat every 6 weeks.
Dogs should not be fed offal from any species. Dogs in hydatid areas should be treated every 6 weeks. Where whipworm is a problem, treat every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age.
If the dogs do not readily accept, chew and swallow the tablet, it should be crushed up and placed on their meal. Fleas are intermediate hosts for tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum). Effective flea control will reduce the incidence of tapeworm.
